WHO WE ARE
Every day, somewhere in this country, a public administrator, politician, corporate executive, NGO leader or researcher is asking the question: How can the government work better for Nigerian? What are the policy options? They’re studying the challenges that face the Nigerian public sector, whether longstanding or new, and they’re seeking innovative solutions and strategies. The options they choose become the stuff of legislation, regulation, planning, unemployment, security, cost of governance, education, health and workplace policy – in other words, they are choices that ultimately affect us all.
Roadmap Nigeria is policy community that works to ensure the decisions made and actions taken are informed by sound evidence and driven by citizens’ needs.
This community invites the question about the Policy Options available to policy actors – decision makers, advocates and citizens. It also opens up the discussion to a much wider audience. It is a window into some of the discussions that key decision-makers are having, or should be having.
We are a community of people active in various fields/sectors of governance, contributing to this open forum in order improve the quality of debate over reform through informed dialogues driven by evidence and reflection.
